Question: Where Can I Find a Car Rental Bargain?

Answer: The Internet!

When it comes to finding a car rental bargain, the Internet is the place to go. Not only is it cheaper to book a car online, but it’s simpler. As well as being able to find discount codes and coupons online, there are also a countless number of price comparison websites that let you easily see the rates being offered by all the major rental car companies.

If you’re not sure where to begin, here are some suggestions:

Priceline.com – Priceline allows you to “Name Your Own Price.” According to their website, when you take advantage of this feature, you can save up to 40% on a rental car. The five rental car companies Priceline works with are Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz and National.

Expedia.com – Expedia offers “last-minute car rental deals.” Recent deals include Advantage economy cars in Los Angeles from $17 and Advantage compact cars in Phoenix from $20.

Hotwire.com – With Hotwire’s “Hot Rates,” you can book a rental car for as little as $13.95 a day.

VroomVroomVroom.com – Along with it’s catchy name, Vroom is known as being the easiest to use price comparison website. Additionally, Vroom does not charge it’s customers a booking fee when they make a reservation through Vroom’s website.

Kayak.com – What makes Kayak different from most of its competitors is that it is a price comparison website of price comparison websites. Instead of comparing rates directly from rental car companies, Kayak compares rates from a wide range of price comparison websites.
